As the eldest daughter raised in a Filipino immigrant household, I grew up with the core values of empathizing with and caring for those around me. Now, equipped with my training in Product Design and Computer Science at Stanford University under mentors like David Kelley (co-founder of IDEO), my goal is to foster connections and empower others through the intersection of human-centered design, engineering, art, and business. I thrive in the sweet spot between the left and right sides of the brain, blending creativity with analytical thinking to transform complex problems into elegant solutions.
As a value-driven designer, I lead with inclusivity, sustainability, accessibility, and empathy, and am a fierce advocate for the user. Above all, I’m interested in how much positive impact can come out of not just the most grandiose, innovative technologies, but also the simplest moments and interactions within a larger system. I find it both incredibly challenging and rewarding to dig deep into intricate systems, zoom into the moments that matter most in a user’s journey, and prioritize delightful micro-moments to build an impactful macro-experience for users.
